I look forward to meeting AnomilyGrace with Padawansguide and friends at D*C. Did we meet last year? Did I meet your dear wife, Jennisis?
I checked her most recent journal entry; I see among her costumes that she will costume as Tonks, and you are costuming as Bill? I expect we shall at least see each other at the Yule Ball? I look forward to that!

If we met it wasn't last year. The Lady (as I affectionally call her) can usually only get Labor Day weekend off every other year. Our last DCon visit was two years ago and planned on a whim. We came costumed as "students" entirely in mail order costumes, save the skirts which were JCPenny's specials. (well I had slacks)

I'll try to make the yule ball though status of costume is questionable. I think the BSG people are having a "Frak Party" that same might so I might be in my duty blues then too... so many costumes, so little weekend. :)

D*C 2006 was my first convention, so we have not met yet.
Yes, the costume potential at D*C is mind-blowing, and the convention isn't long enough. On the night of the Yule Ball, I'll be dressed as Severus, but right after, I will be racing back to my room to change into Sir Julian for the pirate party.
